Jake and I visited Bridal Veil Falls on July 5, 2008. I will admit, I was a little apprehensive about hiking up the falls after so many people have fallen and died at the falls, or so it seems. I decided to swallow my fear, and we had a great time.
The falls was packed with people. We hiked up to the top of the falls and got under the water! It was freakin' freezing! Jake tried to be Mr. Mountain Man and hike farther up. I was scared to death that he was going to fall and kill himself. He ended up being okay, but I was still don't understand what thrill men get hiking straight up a mountain and not listening to their wives.
I think Jake got a little more wet than me.
